Motorola launched Moto E 2nd generation smartphone in India today. The new Moto E 3G variant will be available exclusively on Flipkart, priced at Rs 6,999, starting March 11 midnight.
In the new Moto E 2nd generation 3G version, the 5MP rear camera now has auto-focus but doesn’t come with flash. It does have a VGA front-facing camera for taking selfies. The device also comes with Motorola’s Quick Capture feature, which allows users to launch the camera with two twists of the wrist.
The device sports a 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels display with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, Moto E 2nd gen is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB and a 2,390 mAh battery.
With the new Moto E 2nd generation, the users will also get premium Moto experiences like Moto Display for notifications and updates without interruptions. Also on offer is Moto Migrate to easily transfer contacts, photos and videos to your new phones.
